Questions about your relationship
This list turns the conversation toward the two of you. It asks how your idea of love has changed since you met, which small gestures matter most, when you feel seen and heard, what you have learned from each other, and what you would like to try together next.
These questions are useful as a regular check-in, a few minutes every week or two. They also help after a big change, such as moving in together, a new job or a baby, when the way you work as a couple shifts.
Many of them are warm and appreciative on purpose. Talking about what already works makes it easier to talk about what does not.

Use them before problems, not only during
A relationship question asked in the middle of an argument tends to sound like an accusation. Ask them on calm days instead, when you are both curious. Regular, low-stakes talks make it far easier to raise a small worry before it grows into something bigger.
Repeat back what you heard
After your partner answers, sum it up in your own words and ask if you got it right. It sounds simple, but it slows the conversation down and shows you are listening to understand. It also catches misunderstandings early, before they turn into stories you tell yourself.
